Godmote and gmote. Gmote is likely the easiest way for those with a screen reader to emote on tg. Along with its partner the saymote, you should be able to interact with players in character with no problems. To use it, type gmote, g m o t e all one word, and then your action. Here are some examples that should help get you started. Gmote walks into the square and looks around. From the other point of view it would show… Bob walks into the square and looks around. Gmote spots @Daisy and goes over to her. From the other point of view it would show, Bob spots Daisy and goes over to her. The at sign shows that Bob just targeted a person. Gmote takes off #hat. From the other point of view it would show Bob takes off a purple hat. The number sign means Bob just used a key word to target his hat. Gmote Moving over to #turf, * sits down. From the other point of view, it would show Moving to a turfed seat atop a raised flowerbed, Bob sits down. Bob types gmote here to start the gmote, then the number sign to target the key word then uses shift plus 8 to target himself. This is the star or asterisk sign. You can use this normally without doing fancy things such as targeting people or objects. Here is an example. Gmote Sighing, * runs a tired hand through his head. This would show to other players the message Sighing, Bob runs a tired hand through his hair. One final example is targeting other players clothing. It might not work all the time as sometimes the key words are not always hat, shirt, cloak, and the like but most of the time it does. Here is how it works. Gmote with a grin, * admires @daisy's #cloak. With a grin, Bob admires Daisy's a pink leather cloak. Or, gmote Admires @daisy's #cloak with a grin. Bob admires Daisy's a pink leather cloak with a grin.
